AssemblyAlert has no accounts and no login. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. The host may set what it needs to serve the site.
When you decode a VIN, this site sends that VIN from the server to the public NHTSA vPIC DecodeVinValues API. Successful responses are cached for a few hours so we stay inside NHTSA's rate limits. We do not sell VIN lookups.
